A Project By Griffin Nikkel
The portfolio-building boot camp gave me the feeling of “not being in it alone”. Having Eddie there to help guide me, as well as give me feedback and advice made me much more confident and eager to work on my portfolio.
The weekly lesson on lighting was very valuable to me and taught me a lot about setting up a scene with proper lighting. Lighting is essential to a good portfolio piece and was something college did not cover in much depth.
The Game Arts Academy boot camp has taught me the skills I need to take my student level work to a more professional looking and employable standard. I expect once my environment is done and accompanied by a few smaller portfolio pieces, that I will have much better luck finding a job.
if you have the time to dedicate to it, and the drive to better your portfolio, taking part in the course makes it much easier to work efficiently.
